Rubbish removal in Roundhay
Household rubbish, boxes and clutter collected from Roundhay houses and flats. We carry it out from attic, cellar or the end of the garden.
About rubbish removal →Clearances and waste removal in Roundhay, around the park, Street Lane and Lidgett Lane, for big family houses, period villas and apartments.
Roundhay is one of the leafier parts of north Leeds, built round Roundhay Park. Housing is generous: large Victorian and Edwardian villas, substantial interwar semis and detached houses, newer executive homes, and purpose-built or converted apartments. Big houses, big gardens and lots of storage. Clearances here are often about downsizing, moving abroad or emptying a parent's home, and the volume can be considerable once you add attics, cellars, garages and garden rooms.
Period homes have wide stairs but attic rooms reached by a narrower flight, and cellars down steep steps. Long drives and gravel can mean a fair carry from the door to the van. Apartments have shared entrances and stairs or lifts, and sometimes rules about when removals can happen. Mature gardens can hide sheds, greenhouses and compost areas at the far end. We protect floors where needed. Old pianos and heavy furniture we'll look at case by case.
Most houses have drives, and residential roads usually have room to pull in. Street Lane and the roads around Roundhay Park get busy at weekends and in good weather, so weekday and early slots can be easier. If your road has restrictions or you share a drive, tell us when you book and we'll plan around it. A shared drive is fine, just tell us.
Expected jobs: full house clearances, downsizing moves, garden waste from big hedges and trees, garage and attic clear-outs, and old furniture after a refurbishment. Meanwood tip on Meanwood Road and Seacroft tip on Limewood Road are the nearest Leeds council sites. Both need a car, limit DIY waste and won't help you unload, so a big Roundhay clear-out usually suits a single collection. Mature trees produce a lot of waste in autumn too, and the brown bin can't take thick limbs.

Leeds City Council runs an unwanted items collection for private residents. At the time of writing, it's one free collection of up to five items a year, then a charge, with items outside by 7am. It won't take bathroom suites, kitchen units or pianos, and won't collect from inside. For anything more, we can help.
Yes, including thick branches the council brown bin can't take. We bag and carry it from the back of the garden and load it. If a tree surgeon is cutting, we can collect afterwards. Send a photo of the pile for a quote.
Asbestos, clinical waste, chemicals and solvents, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, oils and fuel, and liquid paint in quantity. Plasterboard has to be kept separate. If you're clearing a garage or cellar and find something odd, send us a photo and ask.
