Who we are

Leeds Waste Removals ([COMPANY NAME + NUMBER]) is the data controller for information sent through this website. You can contact us about your data at info@leedswasteremovals.co.uk.

What we collect

When you use a form we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, postcode, the service you picked and, if you give it, your email address and a description of the job. The photo quote form also collects the photos you upload. We record the page you sent the form from, the time, and your IP address so we can stop spam and abuse.

Why we use it

We use your details to call or email you back about the job you asked about, to quote, and to book and carry out the work. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and then performing that contract. We keep a short record of IP addresses to rate-limit the forms, which is in our legitimate interest of keeping the site working.

Waste paperwork

If we collect waste from you, the law requires us to keep transfer paperwork (a waste transfer note or equivalent record) for at least two years, and three years for hazardous waste. Those records include your name and the collection address.

Analytics

We only load Google Analytics if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, nothing is loaded. See the cookies page for details. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your details or pass them to other companies for marketing. Form messages are delivered by our web host's email system. If you accept analytics cookies, Google processes usage data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into a job are deleted after 12 months. Job records and waste paperwork are kept for as long as the law requires, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
