Rubbish removal in Seacroft
Household rubbish, bags and broken furniture removed from Seacroft houses and flats. We carry it out from whatever floor it's on.
About rubbish removal →Clearances and rubbish collections across Seacroft's houses, maisonettes and tower block flats, with everything carried out and taken to a licensed facility.
Seacroft is one of the big post-war council estates of east Leeds, and much of it is still semis and terraces with gardens, plus maisonettes and several high-rise blocks. Many houses are now privately owned, others are council or housing association lets. That spread gives a steady mix of work: family clear-outs, tenancy turnarounds, gardens that need a full reset, and furniture left behind in flats when someone moves on.
Houses are two storey with front and back gardens, usually with side access. Maisonettes have stairs inside and often a walkway or stairwell outside as well. The tower blocks rely on lifts; when a lift's out, the stairs are the only way, and we'll plan for that. Many gardens back onto green space or paths, but we bring everything through the property rather than over fences. Lofts are small, so we bring our own steps.
Most estate roads have room to pull in, and many houses have drives or dropped kerbs. Around the tower blocks, parking is in shared car parks and spaces near the door go quickly. The Ring Road and York Road are the main routes, and the area round Seacroft Green gets busy at shop times. Tell us where the nearest stopping point is if it's not obvious.
Typical jobs: full house clearances, tenants leaving, flats emptied after a move into care, gardens cleared back, and bulky items like sofas and wardrobes. Seacroft tip on Limewood Road is right on the doorstep for Leeds residents with a car, but you unload yourself, vans need a permit, and landlord waste isn't allowed. If carrying it there isn't practical, we do the lot. Tell us if there's a tenancy end date and we'll plan the visit around it, so keys go back on time.

About garden waste removal →Sofas, beds and wardrobes brought down from flats and maisonettes. Upholstered seating is kept out of general waste and sent for incineration.
About sofa & furniture removal →If you've got a car and only a few bags, the tip may be fine. But it's car or bike only, staff can't help unload, vans and trailers need a permit, and DIY waste is limited. Landlord waste isn't accepted at all. If you need things carried out of the house, or have a sofa and a wardrobe, we're simpler.
Yes. We carry down the internal stairs and then the outside stairwell or walkway, keeping shared areas clear while we work. Bulky items like wardrobes may need taking apart. Tell us which floor it's on when you send photos. Bags go first, so the walkway stays clear.
Yes. We work through the home carefully, set aside paperwork, photos and anything that looks personal, and leave the property empty. If the tenancy ends on a set date, let us know and we'll plan around it. Usable furniture can go for reuse.
Yes. Fridges and freezers count as hazardous waste because of the coolant and insulation foam, so we take them to a facility permitted to treat them. Defrost it beforehand if you can and tell us if it's on an upper floor without a working lift.
Asbestos, clinical waste, chemicals or solvents, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, oils and fuel, and liquid paint in quantity. Plasterboard has to be kept separate from general waste. If you find something you're not sure about, send us a photo and ask.
