Why us

Licensed, paid properly, done right

Most rubbish doesn't arrive all at once. It builds up: the old sofa that went in the garage, the bags from the loft, the bits left after the bathroom was refitted. Then one day it needs to go and the car won't take it. That's the job we do. We collect household and commercial waste across Leeds and the towns around it, carry it out of the property ourselves, and take it to a licensed site. You get a price before we start and a receipt when we finish.

We cover rubbish removal, house and garage clearances, garden waste, builders' waste, furniture and white goods. Sofas and armchairs are kept apart from the rest of the load, because Environment Agency rules for England say they go for incineration, not landfill. Fridges and freezers go to a facility permitted to treat them. If you're not sure we can take something, the what can you take checker gives a straight yes, no or ask-us for each item. We work from 7am to 7pm.

A licence you can check yourself

We're registered with the Environment Agency as an upper-tier waste carrier. Look our number up on the public register before you book. It's the first thing the council tells you to check.

Priced from photos, agreed before we load

Send a few pictures or a description and we'll give you a figure. We confirm it on the doorstep before a single bag goes on the van, so there's no haggling with a full truck.

We carry it from wherever it is

Loft, cellar, back garden, a second-floor flat with no lift. You don't need to drag anything to the kerb first. Point at it and we'll take it from there.

Paperwork for every job

Householders get a receipt. Landlords, letting agents and businesses get a waste transfer note. If anyone ever asks where your rubbish went, you've got the answer in writing.

What we clear

How it works

From photo to empty room

  1. Show us what's going

Use the photo quote or the callback form. A few photos from different angles tell us more than a long description.

  2. Get a price

We reply the same working day with a price and a time that suits you. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

  3. We load it

Two of us turn up, check the price against what's there, then do the lifting. You don't touch a thing unless you want to.

  4. It goes somewhere legal

The load is sorted at a licensed facility. Decent furniture is set aside for reuse where it can be. You get your receipt or transfer note.

Council or us?

Sometimes the council is the better option

The council is sometimes the better option, and we'll say so. If you live in Leeds, have a car and only a few bags, the household waste recycling sites are free. Up to five items placed outside by 7am can go on the council's unwanted items collection, and the first one each year is free. Where we earn our keep is with bigger loads, items inside the house, landlord waste the tips won't accept, or when you can't wait for a slot. Council collection or private collector: an honest comparison.

Fly-tipping in Leeds: the council recorded 13,923 incidents in 2024/25, Defra's latest figures. Paying someone without a waste carrier licence can land you with a fine if your rubbish is dumped.

Questions we get asked

How do I get a price for rubbish removal in Leeds?

Send photos through the photo quote page or describe the load on the callback form. We reply the same working day with a price. It's confirmed on the day before we load, and if the pile has grown we tell you before we carry anything out.

Do I need to bring everything outside?

No. We collect from inside the house, the loft, the garage, the garden or an upstairs flat. Tell us about stairs, tight corners or a long carry when you book so we can allow time for it.

Can I check you're licensed?

Yes, and you should. Our upper-tier waste carrier number is on the how to check a waste carrier page. Search it on the Environment Agency public register and make sure the name matches.

What happens to my sofa?

Upholstered seating can contain persistent organic pollutants (POPs). In England it has to be kept separate from other waste and incinerated. It can't go to landfill. We load it separately and take it to a site that can accept it.

What won't you take?

Asbestos, clinical waste, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, liquid paint, chemicals, solvents, oil and fuel. Plasterboard, tyres and anything borderline need a conversation first. The item checker lists the common ones.

Which parts of Leeds do you cover?

The whole Leeds district plus nearby towns such as Wakefield, Castleford, Bradford, Batley and Harrogate. Pop your postcode into the coverage finder to check, or browse the area pages.
