Rubbish removal in Yeadon
From a cellar of junk to a garage of broken flat-pack, we clear Yeadon homes of everyday rubbish and handle the steep carries so you don't have to.
About rubbish removal →Clearances across Yeadon's stone terraces and newer estates, with the hills between the Tarn and the town centre handled by a two-person crew.
Yeadon has a long stone-built core: millworkers' terraces, short rows climbing the hillsides and older houses around the town centre. Around that sit post-war and modern estates of semis and detached houses towards the Tarn and the airport side. The older terraces tend to have small rooms, cellars and attic conversions packed with storage. Newer homes have garages and lofts. That means we're as likely to be clearing a cellar of old bikes as emptying a garage of flat-pack furniture.
Few places in north-west Leeds are hillier. Some streets are steep enough that we park at the top or bottom and plan the carry carefully. Stone front steps are common on the terraces, and some houses have a drop of several steps to a lower garden behind. Inside the older properties, stairs are narrow and turn sharply. On the estates access is easier, with drives and side paths. Either way, you don't need to bring anything outside.
Many terraces rely on street parking that's tight in the evenings. Mid-morning is usually when we can get closest to the door. The A658 runs through Yeadon towards the airport and can be slow, and roads near the town centre get busy on market and shopping days. The newer estates generally have drives we can use if you're happy to move a car. Tell us if your street is steep or narrow and we'll bring the right kit.
Yeadon's own council tip on Milner's Road is right on the doorstep. It's fine for a car boot of bags, but it's Leeds residents only, vans need a permit, and staff can't help you unload heavy furniture. That's where we fit in: full house clearances, cellar and attic clear-outs, and garden waste from the bigger plots. We also see kitchen refits and bathroom strip-outs on the older stone houses, with heavy old units and tiles to shift.

About rubbish removal →Yeadon stone terraces and estate semis cleared top to bottom, including attics and cellars. Reusable furniture is set aside, and you agree the price before we load anything.
About house clearance →Garden waste removal for Yeadon's sloping plots, hedges and lawns. We bag and carry cuttings up or down the steps, so you don't end up hauling green waste to the tip.
About garden waste removal →Beds, wardrobes, tables and sofas carried down narrow terrace stairs. Upholstered seating is kept apart and sent for incineration, as required for POPs in England.
About sofa & furniture removal →For a few bags in the car, the Milner's Road site is the obvious choice. It's for Leeds residents with cars or bikes, though, and vans need a permit. Staff can't help you unload, and DIY waste is limited per visit. If you've got heavy furniture, a full room or a cellar to clear, it's usually easier for us to load and take the lot in one go.
Usually, yes, though it might be at the top or bottom of the slope rather than outside the door. Tell us the street when you book and we'll plan the parking and the carry. On very steep bits, two of us share the weight down. We'll never leave anything on the pavement while we work.
Yes. Many of Yeadon's stone terraces have cellars reached by a single narrow flight of steps, often damp and full of years of storage. We bring everything up by hand, bag loose clutter, and sweep out once it's empty. Check for anything you need to keep before we arrive. Photos of the cellar help us price it.
We work between 7am and 7pm. Get in touch with photos or a description and we'll call back the same working day with a price. Once that's agreed, we'll book a time that works for you, whether that's an early start before work or a slot when a relative can be there.
Ask for the collector's waste carrier registration number. It usually starts CBDU, and for a firm like ours it should be upper tier. Search it on the Environment Agency public register and check the name and address match. If someone you paid fly-tips your waste, you can be fined, so it's worth the two minutes before you hand anything over.
